Abstract

|
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Brody’s developmental play therapy for the child with development delay which has PDD features. A child with major aspects of PDD was brought up grandparents and has problem on attachment with his parents. A total of 23 sessions were analysed in divided step-by-step. The conclusion of play therapy, a child becomes to advance social interaction ability, verbal communication ability and interest about proper play. It is having trouble on generalizing because this study has a limitation of a single case. Despite the limitation, this study is meaningful in since to decrease major aspects of a PDD and to provide a study on the effects of a developmental play therapy.
